“small games made between 2017 - 2018”

Collection of small Interactive things I made between 2017-2018.

Stanley’s Insecurities in 2099

Date: March 2018
Dev time: 2 week
Platform: PC
Tools: Unity, Maya
An experimental narrative game about alienation, automation, and breaking the loop
(Inspired by The Stanley Parable, Fight Club, and Job Simulator)
Set in the year 2099, the game takes players on a surreal journey through the mind of a discontent white-collar worker. Trapped in an existential void, the protagonist is reduced to fragments — literally. To progress, players must collect dismembered body parts floating in empty space, each one unlocking a piece of the story. The narrative is revealed top-to-bottom as the player descends, following a vertical cascade of text. With each body part retrieved, the descent deepens — until the void itself breaks, giving way to an unexpected turn.

What is she up to?

Date: March 2018

A game where you stalk your ex on Instagram and find out whether she has a new partner or not.
Play on your phone using Instagram and this website here.

SUPREME vs IKEA

Date: October 2017
Dev time: 1 week
Platform: PC
Tools: Unreal, Photoshop, Maya
Supreme logos fights IKEA.

SONG BRUSH

Date: October 2017
Dev time: 2 days
Platform: iPad
Tools: Unity
Collaborator: Jiadi, Michael and Drew.
A collaborative music and drawing web app created during the HACK MUSIC LA hackathon. Inspired by Reddit’s r/place, the idea was to create a shared space where people could listen to the same music in real time and spontaneously draw together on a live canvas. Users joined a room, heard the same track, and contributed doodles alongside others.

THE SECOND GREATEST ARTIST

Year : November 2017
Dev time: 2 weeks
Platform: PC
Tools: Unreal, Maya
Collaborator: Michel/CS
Sarcastically themed around the controversial artist Chris Burden, we created a five-minute gameplay set inside a contemporary art museum. The player steps into the role of a visitor who unexpectedly encounters a radical performance artist, and is soon confronted with provocative, ethically ambiguous requests that challenge their comfort and sense of agency.

HOLD FOR RELEASE

Date: January 2017
Dev time: 6 weeks
Platform: PC
Tools: Unity, maya, Premiere
Collaborator: Noah
A short Unity game set in the five minutes before an island is obliterated.
As the clock runs out, the player must choose who to talk to and piece together what happened. A quiet exploration of banal relationships at the edge of catastrophe.

Doodle Noodle

Year: 2017 Feb
Dev time: 2 days
Tools: Oculus Rift, Leap Motion, Unity, Maya
Collaborators: James/programming, Alexis/programming

Made during TreeHacks 2017 (Stanford’s annual hackathon).

We enjoyed playing with Leap Motion’s “Pinch Draw” module and the game Happy Wheels. So we made a VR drawing game where the player draws a path to guide a pony back home.
